Cinderella Turns into a Pumpkin? The Jimmy Butler Trade and an NBA Pacific Division Preview

On tonight's pod, we discuss the poor, poor NBA pacific division where the Warriors have (and likely will) continue to reign supreme. We also talk about Phoenix, Sacramento, and the Clippers because we have to and the Lakers because we actually want to. Need a couple options for the Butler trade? We gotcha there too. And other random stuffs like whether Cinderella is a pumpkin or if this was an elaborate way to avoid the walk of shame. If this doesn't scare you enough for a basketball podcast: hint - Sacramento is still paying Caron Butler money...and that is harrowing...

The NBA's Southwest Division: Disco Pelis, Boogie, and Mr. Barnes

On tonight's pod, we discuss the wasteland of the NBA's Southwest Division and how much it has changed (clue: really just not for the better), we discuss Harrison Barnes as an option and discourse on what to expect from the San Antonio Spurs basketball club this upcoming season post-Kawhi. There are more 30 for 30s sparking a debate about the Dallas Mavs on a sitcom and so much more. Also, P.S.  no way Houston doesn't win this division, amirite?!?!?

NBA Northwest Division Preview: The Jazz That Started in Utah

On tonight's pod, we discuss the NBA's Northwest Division - Blazers, Thunder, Timberbulls, Nugs, and the Jazz. We have some 30 for 30s that are quite rangy and theatrical. We have a tough time trying to figure out why teams are so great on defense and have so much talent but still can't win games - our answer may not be what you think...or it could be...I don't know. Nevertheless, we address the Blazers star power in the backcourt and how it doesn't really matter, what getting rid of Melo really means for the Thunder, where the Timerbulls went/are going wrong, why the Nugs really haven't gotten any better, and whether the Jazz are really as good as people think. All that and more on the pod below:

NBA Southeast Division Preview: Mediocre is Bad and John Wall w/ the Bags

On tonight's pod, we discuss the NBA's southeast division in all of its splendor. Occupied by the Heat, Magic, Wizards, Hawks, and Hornets, we come to the agreement that mediocre is just terrifying. The contracts to match...also terrifying, but JOHN WALL GETS THE BAGS. We have haikus and 30 for 30 featuring buddy cops and Bamba's magic show. We have our own happy ending when we realize that we never have to talk about this division until a month from now, and inevitable sadness considering that the Hawks may be the best equipped team going forward in a STEAMING hot take. Take a listen:
